Internet conference of Russian food producers
The first internet conference of Russian food manufacturers, Indian distributors and retail chains was held on April 23, 2020.
The organizers of the event: Russian Export Center and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The main goal of the conference was to arouse the interest of Indian companies in the products of Russian manufacturers and to organize an exchange of contacts.
Representatives of 49 Russian manufacturers took part in the online negotiations. On the Indian side, the participants were representatives of 52 companies: distributors, trade networks, electronic trading platforms.
The main feature of this event is the electronic format, which allowed to ensure the participation of representatives from more than 20 regions of Russia and 5 regions of India. The total number of connections to the conference was 114.
With the assistance of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Bashkir companies presented their products within the framework of the conference, one of them being Pischeprom JSC (Buzdyak Canning Plant).
As a result of the conference it was possible to establish 5 target contacts with each of the parties.
